Cambridge: My Neighborhood
More fun with my digital camera.
Due to lack of webspace, I had to compress these images a lot. They don't do
justice to the 500kB-1MB files created by the camera.
- Image1 - The house on the corner.
- Image2 - Late Fall - the sun is low on the
horizon. The Winter Solstice is about a month away.
- Image3 - Yes we got trees. The oldest was
planted in 1632 by John Harvard (maybe).
- Image4 - Those wood shingles look pretty
bad after twenty years. Makes my house look almost OK.
- Image5 - My house -- I wish. This one was
rehabbed and sold for $650,000; It's almost as bad as San Jose.
- Image6 - That's not my house either. But
I did plant that fir tree by hand myself. It's a big girl now.
- Image7 - My best pieces of furniture - Italian
of course. Reminds me of espresso in Milan (kinda).
- Image8 - We got good eatin' critters as well.
I do like to pop 'em on the barbie with a splash of teriyaki sauce.
- Image9 - This beast comes to visit me daily.
I named him "Pushkin" 'cause he looks like a russain poet.
- Image10 - Rusty metal can be artsy if you
look at it long enough.
And that's all I could fit.
