Welcome to my personal pages. I recently purchased a digital camera and instead of attaching dozens of images in e-mail to friends and family, I decided to toss them into this site. I am not a fan of "push" technology anyway. Some of my younger friends and family don't remember the time of 300 baud modems. My first web surfing experience was at 2,400 baud so you know I don't appreciate huge e-mail. Awareness of network limitations has improved a bit over the past few years but I still get the odd 1 Megabyte message.
Perhaps this section should be titled "life". About five years ago, an acquaintance, tired of hearing my complaints and general negativity about work, told me to "get a life". He was right; And being Dutch he gave his advice with great conviction. I have taken his advice to heart and I can now confidently say, I am a much more interesting guy than I was five years ago.
